Overview
BeAvto is Limgro's own product: a Ukrainian car platform, live since 2018, with listings, a specification catalog, a directory of auto businesses and buyer tools on one codebase. In 2026 we upgraded the stack, redesigned the core pages and added the directory, the calculators and an English version.

01 — Challenge
BeAvto began in 2018 as car listings with a specification catalog. By 2026 the stack was stuck: the front end only built on Node 12, the back end ran PHP 7.4 and Laravel 7, and the interface had never been designed for a phone. The goal was organic search traffic earned with real content — and there was no team to type that content in.
02 — What we built
We moved the platform to PHP 8.3, Laravel 13 and a Vite 5 build, then redesigned the home page, search, listings and catalog pages on shared components. Next we added what buyers and search engines look for: a 22,483-business service directory, five calculators, a 232-code OBD-II reference and a blog. Content arrives through 45 Artisan commands that import, describe, translate and publish, so the platform grows without manual entry.
03 — Result
A platform with 271 brands, 9,394 generations and 75,014 trims, 22,483 businesses, 138 guides and a fault-code reference — all of it listed in a 29-file sitemap. New content goes live through an import rather than a form, and an English version runs on the same routes under /en.
Listings and search
Used and new cars and motorcycles, narrowed by body type, brand and model, region, year, price and condition. A search can be saved, and every listing has a public wall where buyers propose a bargain, offer an exchange or ask a question.

Specification catalog
271 brands, 4,380 models, 9,394 generations and 75,014 trims. A generation page opens on its modifications and a table of what differs between them, with separate tabs for trims, tires and rims, and oil and maintenance.

Service directory
22,483 businesses in seven categories: repair shops, fuel stations, car washes, tire shops, insurance, dealerships and rentals. City pages count services, reviews and how many are open right now; each listing carries hours, rating, photos and a description.

Buyer tools
Five calculators answer the money questions before a purchase: customs clearance, car loan, leasing, fuel consumption and transport tax. Each recalculates as you type and explains how the number is built underneath, next to a reference of 232 OBD-II fault codes.

Key decisions
- The front-end build moved from webpack 3, pinned to Node 12, to Vite 5.
- Shared primitives replaced copy-paste: one AppSelect for 21 hand-built selects, one SpecRow for 51 spec rows across eight pages.
- The English version runs under /en on the same routes, with reference data — bodies, fuels, regions, 598 cities — translated in the database.
- Service pages publish opening hours and top review snippets as structured data, and every business gets an embeddable rating badge.
