Easylim
One workspace replacing six SaaS subscriptions
Easylim is an all-in-one workspace: tasks, projects, kanban, Gantt, calendar, documents, wiki, whiteboard, screen recording, forms and time tracking on one data graph. Positioned against a stack of six separate SaaS tools, with enterprise controls — SSO, SCIM, audit logs, EU/US data residency — available on every plan.
Challenge
Every team tool solves one slice and syncs badly with the rest. A fifteen-person team ends up paying $55–75 per seat across six subscriptions, and still loses hours a day switching between them. Rebuilding that as one product means one data model has to serve a dozen different views without becoming a compromise in all of them.
What we built
We modelled everything as one graph of data with many UI projections: the same task is a card on a board, a bar on a Gantt chart, a row in a daily planner and a block in a document. 24 routes and 29 API handlers on Next.js 16, bilingual UK/EN from one dictionary, with the marketing site and the product sharing one design system.
Result
A production SaaS with 100+ features across 24 routes, enterprise controls on every plan, and an onboarding path measured in minutes rather than a rollout project.
What it does
Every screen below is the live product, captured this week.
The workspace
One entry point into everything a team runs: projects, tasks, documents and time, all reading from the same data graph rather than syncing between tools.
- Tasks, projects and recurring work with custom fields and statuses
- Dashboards, daily planner and activity feed per team member
- Documents, wiki pages, notes and whiteboards attached to any task
Boards and views
The same task appears as a kanban card, a Gantt bar, a calendar entry or a planner row. Change it anywhere and every other view updates — there is no per-view copy of the data.
- Kanban with drag & drop and custom status columns
- Gantt with dependencies, calendar and daily planner
- Filters, tags, checklists and attachments on every card
Plans and access control
Pricing is per seat with a free tier that has no card and no feature wall. Enterprise controls stay switched on for everyone, because access control is not an upsell.
- Free tier with no card, paid tiers billed per seat
- SSO, SCIM provisioning and role-based permissions on all plans
- Immutable audit logs and EU / US data residency
API and integrations
The workspace is scriptable: a webhooks API, GitHub pull-request linking and provisioning endpoints so the platform can be wired into whatever a team already runs.
- Webhooks API for task, project and status events
- GitHub pull-request linking against tasks
- Public sharing and form intake into any project
The same workspace on a phone — boards, tasks and documents at a single column width.
Under the hood
The stack, and the engineering decisions behind the build.
- One normalised data graph rendered as boards, Gantt, calendar and documents — no per-view duplication.
- Next.js 16 App Router with 24 routes and 29 server handlers, TanStack Query for optimistic real-time updates.
- Bilingual uk/en rendered from one dictionary, so a new string never ships in a single language.
- GDPR / SOC 2 / ISO 27001 posture: AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, EU and US data residency.
